How to recognise a spiritual connection.

Every one, when they first start working with spirit, feels that what they are hearing is just their own thoughts and nothing to do with their intuition or spirit guides. Because we are dealing with a force that can’t always be seen, we almost demand to be shown concrete proof that what we are getting is from spirit. But that will never happen. The information is there to be tapped into, but we have to meet those in spirit half way. We can’t expect them to do all the work.

Living in the physical world we think in physical terms. This makes it very hard to fight our own negativity and doubts. But there is a way to overcome this. Simply, believe in yourself. Recognise that our thoughts are part of a spiritual plan. Most of us don’t have a clue how the brain works, but it doesn’t stop us from using it. Anything that appears to be outside our normal experience, we immediately make it safe by dismissing it as part of our imagination. But what is the imagination? Is it unreal - just a thought process to be dismissed so casually?

Think about it. Without our thought process we couldn’t breathe, eat or drink. It’s the core of our being and the basis of everything we do. Thought can create wonderful works of art, but with every yin, there is a yang. Thought can also cause world wars. So now you see why thoughts must never be dismissed. Thought is a tool to communicate with other thinking energies?

Spirit guides need to use the same thought processes that we will understand, and the gateways for them to use are our imaginations. That’s why it is a good idea to watch lots of documentaries, programs that cram your mind full of information. A spirit guide will pull snippets of information from your mind to communicate with you. But there needs to be information there to use. As trust in the imagination increases, thoughts become tangible. Believing what the imagination tells you is the starting point from fanciful ideas, to actuality. When we merge our imagination and our spiritual perception, there’s no longer any fear of the unknown.

So now I hear you ask, "How do I know the thoughts are from a guide and not my own mind?" Unfortunately there’s no easy answer to this question because everyone works differently. I always tell people when I’m teaching, if thoughts pop into your mind, without any prompting, that’s the first indication that you’re beginning to recognise spiritual influences.

Progression on the spiritual path includes progression on your physical journey as well. In fact, as spiritual awareness increases, you’ll start to change the way you live your physical life. This enables you to then continue along the pathway you’ve decided to tread. I’m not saying it’ll be easy, but then nothing in life is. If it were, you’d never appreciate your achievements. Good luck with your journey, it’s one you will never regret undertaking.

The otherside of Christmas.

It’s coming up to Christmas and for some people it isn’t all sleigh bells and laughter. For some, this seasonal time of the year brings sadness. It's an unfortunate truth that negativity impacts our life more than anything else. This is because it arrives highly charged with various other emotions pushing it along.

Negativity brings anger, despair, grief and more, which wipes out any positivity that might be trying to break through. The damaging effect from this type of emotion ripples out like that of a lake that you have thrown a pebble into. It affects everyone around you. The mind is a powerful tool, but when it turns against you it can become a formidable adversary.

So how can you change this darkness around you? Do something that lightens your mood. I know you won’t feel like it, and I'm not trying to sound patronising here, but even something small can make a huge impact on how you're feeling. This way you are turning your mind away from the negative influences of your thoughts. Try not to speak to people who are in the same frame of mind as you. Negative people will only make you feel worse. For now, stick with people who are more upbeat.

Have you ever thought about helping others? Don’t be on your own Christmas day. A lot of charities are crying out for help. Crisis badly need volunteers christmas day. Help someone else, even if you feel that you can’t always help yourself.

It’s hard to feel thankful when you’re so down, but find one thing that you are really grateful for and concentrate on that. Don’t suffer alone. Talk to understanding friends and family about how you feel.

Understand that nobody is perfect. We all have flaws that from time to time hold us back or interfere in our lives. Mrs Jones, who lives next door, may have a wonderful house, but is she really happy? There are things that we say to ourselves that are harmful and stay locked inside us for a long time. Treat yourself as you would treat others. Think before you think!

Last of all remember, there are agencies that can help you if you have no friends or family to talk to and if you live in the UK.

As we grow closer to the end of 2011 and the beginning of 2012, we have discovered that time is energy which waits for no one. So what is energy and why is it so important? There is nothing in physical form or in the Spirit ether that is not energy in one form or another.

Energy is a non-physical substance. It is both seen and unseen. It is light and it is dark, free flowing, often collecting in room corners and becoming stagnant. It is the only mass that is never ignored by those of us in the linear or spiritual realm. Words, thoughts emotions are created by energy. This explains why, when a person dies, their personality lives on. Energy can never be extinguished.

There are people who are very sensitive to energy. They are called mediums or sensitive’s. They can feel or sense how a person is feeling or what kind of mood they are in through email, text or just looking at them. I am an Angelic Reiki Practitioner. I work on the subtle energy vibrations of the angels, who are sentient beings of light and energy. An Angel is capable of being everywhere in every moment. If you don’t believe in angels, have an Holistic treatment with me. Angelic energy is unique and quite tangible to everyone.

Energy is an important component of all living things. It is also the sole componant of the spirit world. Spirit Orbs are energy. When we shed the vehicle that houses our energy, the body, we are free to be in any place we choose at the blink of an eye.

What is an Aura

In metaphysics, Aura refers to the energy field emanating from the surface of a person or object. This emanation is visualized as an outline of cascading colour and may be held to represent spirit vibrations or chakra emergence. By definition the aura is the energy field or “Life Force” that surrounds, encompasses and permeates all living things. The human aura is similar to a force field protecting and vitalizing every cell and organ of the body. It is akin to an “electric blueprint” of yourself.

The aura’s spiralling colour vibration field can be seen, felt, and interpreted in an aura reading. Should the colour or colours in the aura need healing, an aura healing can take place, bringing the aura into balance.A well-balanced aura should be balanced all the way around, with the colour or colours and their stability being carefully noted.

For example; when a murky colour is present the aura is out of balance, this is when an aura healing would be helpful. The auric energy field not only goes around you, but moves within your body as well. It is not just the outside of your body that is made of electromagnetic energies. The Aura vibrates to different colour, sound and light frequencies. The colour spectrum varies with a persons physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual states. Although it is not always possible to physically see an Aura, it can be sensed or even touched.

An aura healer studies a person to see if there are holes in their aura. This is shown by dark gaps where electromagnetic energies had suddenly stopped. It will cause an imbalance in the physical body. Big or small. A healer needs to first find out the psychological cause of the problem. This will determine if the person actually wants to be healed on an emotional and spiritual level. If they are they are not ready for either, healing and balancing can only last for a sort time and will revert back, or manifest in another area of the body.

Do it yourself.

It is quite possible to see your own aura. Find a mirror that is in a well lit room. It works better of you sit in front of a white background and look to the side of the body - either side is fine. Daylight is often the best light as the sun's rays are full spectrum.
Sit or stand and relax yourself. Look at your head and shoulder area. Focus on one side of your head. Soon you should be able to see the electromagnetic energies as a field of light - around it.
To feel the electromagnetic energies coming from your body, hold the palms of your hand facing each other - about two inches apart. Wait a few second. You will feel a tingling sensation or something pushing gently between your hands.
Once you begin to feel the sensation of electromagnetic energies between your palms, move them slowly to and fro. You will feel the movement of your aura. Look between your hands to see the electromagnetic energies, your aura.
Try moving your palms further and further apart slowly. See how far you can go before you no longer feel the 'pull'. Remember to check periodically by moving your hands slightly and slowly.
If you watch another person for a minute, you will see their electromagnetic energies as sort of wavy lines. You might want to let your eyes go a little out of focus while you are looking for an aura. After you see that energy, you may also see or sense a colour frequency, maybe two or three colours, in the aura.
Remember that auras change all the time according to the person's mood and environment. As with all psychic tools, learning to read auras seems easy for some people while others need lost of practice.

Aura layers

First layer.
The one closest to our body, nearest to our hair, is called the Etheric layer. It is connected to the root chakra and is vibrant red in colour. This talks about our general health. Physical manifestations show here as dark knots or patches. Problems with legs, feet, bones and bowel discomforts. Faded patches can indicate a stressful period in your life, anger. When feeling it with your hands, that part of it will feel sharp, jagged to the touch.

Second layer.
This one is called the Emotional body and should be a strong vibrant orange with hints of silver. It is connected to your sacral chakra. This one is associated with your moods. Your feelings about yourself and your self esteem. This is an easy one to get out of balance. Once thi has happened you may get mood swings, start addictions such as eating, smoking, drinking. Get to know this level well. If the colour is pale, maybe you don’t have enough belief in yourself, maybe someone is knocking your self confidence. Illnesses of the bladder, kidneys, sexuality and hormones will show here.

Third Layer
This is known as the mental body. It is a vibrant sunshine yellow and is linked to the Solar Plexus chakra. This shines at its brightest when you are happy. It governs willpower, logic, determination. If it becomes a fuzzy mist, you may become forgetful, unable to focus your everyday thoughts. If it is pale/knotted, maybe you’re doing too much and not prioritising for time for yourself.

Fourth layer
The Astral body. This is linked to the heart chakra and is green. This is an important chakra and to balance it you must get it right. This level can easily become exhausted as it is connected to your deepest inner most feelings.. It will show up as a darker green if someone is possessive with you, or you are reluctant to let a loved one go. This layer helps you to accept love and give it. Illnesses such as viruses, lung, skin, allergies, blood circulation show up here.

Fifth layer
The Etheric template is blue and is connected to the throat chakra. This is hard to balance if you have a strong green centre. It is associated with sound, communication. If the colour is dark/dull you have unsaid words blocking your chakra. Illnesses such as the teeth, neck, shoulders glands, metabolism show here.

Sixth Layer
Celestial body. Is a vibrant purple and is linked to the brow chakra. This where we connect with spirit, angel, intuition. If the colour is not there, maybe you have lost touch with your spiritual self, if the colour is harsh/dark maybe you are not doing what is truly in your heart.

Seventh layer
Ketheric body has many colours within it. Violet,gold,white. It is connected to your crown chakra. This is all of you. Your energy. Your life force. It is the union of mind, body and spirit, the divine spark that drives us all.
If the colour is too white, maybe you strive too hard for perfection, if it is pale, maybe you have lost where you are going in life. Illnesses such as neurological, immune systems and cells, show here.

Predominant Aura Colours.

Personality. WHITE

Healthy, well balanced and spiritually evolved. An innovator and focused on wider world view.
Mood. Open to new ideas, new approaches and able to see the bigger picture.
Drawbacks. Too bright. Pushing ahead regardless of the consequences. Possible personal burn out.
Misty&pale. Unrealistic expectations and disillusioned with life.

Personality. RED

Courageous, a crusader, very active and wont take no for an answer. Passionate, strong.
Mood. Determined to succeed. Eager for change.
Drawbacks. Bright metallic red. A short temper. Dull red. Suppressed fury, irritable nature.
Scarlet and flashing. Flirtatious.

Personality Orange.

Confident, independent. Natural negotiator. Lucky, fertile, creative.
Mood. Self confident, willing to co-operate, well balanced and self motivated.
Drawbacks.
Dull/murky. Over territorial, over sensitive ego.
Pale. Lack of separate identity, low self esteem. Harsh, eccentric, addictive personality.

Personality. YELLOW.

Logical. Quick to learn. Natural communicator.
Mood. Ready to take a calculated risk. Won’t be swayed by emotions. in a work mood.
Drawbacks. Mustard yellow. Jealousy, spite or potential gossip.
Metallic. Less than honest intent.
Cold lemon. A workaholic, the heads rules the heart.

Personality GREEN.

Loving, faithful, altruistic, a natural healer, sympathetic, good with animals and children. Concerned about environment. Forgiving.
Mood. Kind, generous, ready to listen and understand, ready for love.
Drawbacks. Yellowish green. Possessiveness. Emotional manipulation.
Pale green. Unwilling to let go. Dependency and sentimentality.

Personality. BLUE

A natural leader. a keen sense of justice. Knowledgeable, channeller for healing from angles or guides.
Mood. Willing to consider both sides of a story. Calm, eager to make peace or compromise.
Drawbacks. Harsh. intolerant. A power struggle in some aspect of life.
Dull. . A concern for rigid rule keeping.
Pale. Indecisive.

Personality. PURPLE.

Gentle, mystical, naturally clairvoyant, draws healing powers from prayer and divinity, a dreamer.
Mood. Intuitive, Unwilling to condemn anyone or anything. Receptive.

Blurred. Prone to daydreams and illusion.
Dark. Isolation.

Personality. GOLD.

Visionary, perfectionist and noble sprit. One destined for great things.
Mood. Will protect and sacrifice self for others.

Black anywhere in the aura, tends to appear as knots, jagged edges or dark spots. These denote exhaustion or stress.

What are elementals?

An elemental is considered a mythological being first appearing in the alchemical works of Paracelsus in the 16th century.

There are many types.
Gnomes, earth elementals
Undines, water elementals
Sylphs, air elementals
Salamanders, fire elementals.
Fairies
Pixies
Sprites

So let’s talk about a couple of these fascinating, so called, mythical beings. A one is most certainly real as I have seen them for myself. The others, I can’t vouch for something I haven’t seen, yet I won’t discredit their existence either.

Undines are a personification of water. They are likened to sprites, nymphs and mermaids. The term Undine comes from the Latin root ‘unda’ which means ‘wave. As water/tides are governed by the moon, so are these etheric beings. They can be traced right back to ancient Greece times. Here they are recorded as being called Oceanides. It was said that they were the daughters of Titan and his wife Tethys. I’m not so sure I can akin them to Idol gods, as they are from the spiritual veil and belong to the one consciousness of that light. But many years ago their presence in the oceans was legendary among seafarers.
Undines unite to form an impenetrable energetic bond. Hence where the term that we get energy from the water comes from. Water contains a wealth of energy that, we as humans, can’t begin to comprehend. Just as molecules bond together to form one mass - the Undines unite their energies in a grand matrix that is water. Theoretically, that would mean when we drink water, we are consuming Undines. But as we are all basically etheric beings, made from energy, the undines energy unites with ours and as we are all formed from the one consciousness, it stands to reason that combination makes us stronger.
Think about it. When we work with spirit, we drink water to cleanse away residue vibration, when we are unwell, we are told to drink plenty of fresh water. Why is spring water so good for us? Would we be more honourable in our use of water if we knew we were interacting with beings from the light? I don't know, but it's something to think about.

Fairies.
Fairies have been maligned though history as being devious, ugly, untrustworthy, the cause of changelings ~ When a fairy substitutes its child for a humans. All quite valid perceptions in the realms of fantasy, I suppose. So what are fairies exactly? I can tell you what they are not. Little ladies, dresses in tutu’s with butterfly wings, pointing magic wands at all and sundry.
Fairies are not of this dimension, they are etheric beings living in the atmosphere of our planet and solar system. They help guide nature. Evolution of plant life has to be assigned to someone to nurture it. They are also known as tree elementals.
Fairies are actually likened to angels. They cannot be seen as a being, as they are composed of etheric energy that has no definitive shape in our dimension, they cannot communicate with us because they don’t understand us, but their energy reacts with ours and that’s why we get such enjoyment from parks and plant life. This again highlights the fact that we are all from the one consciousness and we will therefore always be uplifted when we come in contact with theses energies, because they are part of us. Fairies can be seen, usually by those who are clairvoyant. They look like little flecks of coloured or white light.
I have seen these lights for myself when sitting in my garden. I could see little lights around my face as I bent to tend my roses one afternoon. I flicked at them thinking they were bugs lol, only to be told by my guide that they were indeed fairies I was swatting away. I apologised of course and hoped that they were not too offended.
So the next time you are surrounded by flowers, send out a thought to the fairies who tend them. For without them the plants on the earth would have no direction or form and the world would be a colourless place.

Whatever you believe in, I have hopefully given you a little bit of evidence that some do exist. I hope to bump into someone else who can give me evidence the others do as well. For now I can’t say either way.

Space Clearing.

Space clearing in your home.

Your house, believe it or not, can become a haven for dirt. Not from dust, but from residual energy. Here are three steps to make it sparkle again.

First of all do the usual house chores like hovering, dusting, making everything spick and span. When you have done this shower/bath and put a dab of essential oil on your pulse points (make sure it is in carrier oil please.) You need to focus your mind on what you are clearing. Whether it be one room or the whole house. Ask your spirit guides to come close to help you with this clearing.

Tools you will need.

Drums, chimes, bells, singing bowl, Crystals

Whatever ones you use, make sure you have something they can rest on so you can carry them easily from room to room.

Go into the room you are clearing and stand. Close your eyes and feel the energy of the room. Is it heavy, light, stale, does it make you fel happy sad, nothing at all? Look at your tools. Whatever one you feel drawn to will be the one you should use. Use the tool as you walk around the room in a clockwise direction. When you’ feel’ you do not need to use the tool anymore, say a small prayer such as heavenly father, divine spirit. Place a blessing on this room and everyone who sits here. You can say your own affirmation. Whatever you feel is right.

Once you have done the room/house the tricky part is saving all that lovely energy that you have created. Choose a crystal that you like, hold it and say, take away the negative and replace this room with positive energy and then leave it behind in the room. Remember to cleanse the crystal every now and then.

Look closely and tell me what you see.

Let me tell you what happened in my angel circle last month. It's a new circle. Everyone is developing nicely and I am attuning them, via the Chi Ball, to the various angelic spheres. Last week I was teaching how to interpret angel cards.

Engrossed in the cards and talking away, a lady in the group suddenly interrupted and said 'who is that talking?'
The room fell silent and quite faintly we could all hear a voice coming through my ipod speakers, which I use for our meditations.

It was quiet, distorted and I put it down to the speakers picking up a radio or something. It stopped after a minute or so, we carried on, and then the voice was back. I was still convinced the speaker was just picking up passing rubbish and we ignored it. The circle continued going very well and eventually came to an end.

Afterwards I asked my husband to check my speakers as it was very irritating that they picked up things while I was teaching.
His findings robbed me of words, for a change, and also made me a bit angry with myself. The speakers were switched off for a start, so they couldn't pick up anything AND they are ipod speakers. Without the ipod plugged into them they would have been dead anyway.

So what were the voices coming through the speakers? Was it an angelic communication? Being a parapsychologist I'm always questioning spiritual happenings, as many can be logically explained away. This however, can't be explained. The speakers were switched off.

Angel circles are very hard to work. The dynamics of them have to be perfect. The sitters energies need to compliment each other and then the circle begins to slowly meshes together to form a tight bond. It's very quick to have this sort of communication and I wish I had listened more closely now to the voice. But it is no use berating myself as I am sure the angels know me by now and will realise they need to try a little harder to get my attention.

Unfortunately, I have to wait a whole month to see if the angels will speak to us again. What is that saying about patience? lol

Anyway, before I go here is a bit about Number Sequences.
Angels often communicate messages to you by showing you sequences of numbers. It can be by using the clock's time, car number plate or a phone number on a billboard. They hope that if you see the same number repeatedly, you’ll acknowledge them. For example, you may keep seeing the number sequence 111, and every time you look at a clock the time reads 1:11 or 11:11.
Here are the basic meanings of various number sequences.

111 - This sequence means that there is a gate of opportunity opening up. As all thoughts are sent out into the Universe, it has now taken a picture of your thoughts and it is attempting to give them form.
222 - Any ideas you may have are ideas are becoming a reality. Keep nurturing them, and holding positive thoughts.
333 - The Ascended Masters are around you. Call upon them, especially when you see the number 3 patterns.
444 - You are surrounded by angels. They have heard your prayers and are trying to, reassure you of their love and help.
555 - A major life change is upon you. Don't think of this as a negative as change is a natural part of life.
666 - Your thoughts are focused too much on the material world. You need to balance them. The angels are asking you to focus on spirit and service, and know your material and emotional needs will automatically be met.
777 - The angels are congratulating. This is a wonderful sign and means more miracles will occur. 888 - You have come full circle and a phase is about to end. This is telling you to prepare for it. It could mean that you are winding up a relationship, or that there is light at the end of the tunnel. 999 - This sign means it is the end of a big phase in your personal life. It is also a huge message to all those who work with the light of spirit. It means start healing as Mother Earth needs you right now."
000 - A reminder you are one with God.

Psychic Development.

When I speak to people about being Psychic I am surprised by some of the feedback I get. Let me tell you a few things that will surprise you. EVERYONE is the world is Psychic. You’re born with it. You don’t have to be ‘special’ to be psychic. Its nature’s in built safety alarm for yourself. What people don’t know is how to tap into it.

Firstly Let me tell you what WON’T happen.
You won’t see dead people
You won’t see anything horrible
You won’t start wearing hippy clothes and chanting omm (not yet anyway lol)

What you will see is the workings of your own body. Recognising the energies within. Understanding your intuition. That quiet voice which helps you in life , love and career moves.
You will learn about the aura and what it does for you. How to touch it, make it work for you and read others intentions by just looking at their aura. You will work with mantic tools such as a pendulum. You’ll be surprised how this handy gadget can find those lost keys.

Crystals. Learn how to use these amazing stones to heal yourself and others.

Psychic Development is fun. It’s not scary and it’s a great way to meet new people, make new friends and learn about the things that have mystified people through the ages.

Symbolic messages.

People often say to me why do spirit send symbols instead of just saying ‘ hi, my names.......and I lived at.....I’ve come to say.........’ Well, sometimes they can communicate this way, but mainly to mediums who are Clairknowing (clairaudient, sentient and voyant) To those who are not that lucky, a spirit person has to communicate the best way that they can.
They do it by pulling up your own memories and using them. For instance, if I am speaking to a man in the armed forces, I'll get sent a still picture of my son, who was in the army. This is known as a symbolic image. They will also use the image of my own mother, to let me know they are a mother.

Spirit people will use whatever is stored in your head to get their poinbt across. So I always say watch every program you can, read every book you can lay your hands on. Even if you have no interest in them. I half watched a program on world war one the other day. The next night while I was giving messages from the podium, images from that program began to flood my mind and I realised I had a spirit person from world war one with me.

There are so many symbols used. It is down to the medium to decipher them and perhaps now, you may understand why they don't always get it right. My advice to any medium is, if you don’t understand a symbol ask the spirit person to send you another. Don’t waste time deliberating over them. Work with your guide. TALK to them. TELL them how you want to work. I now ask my guides not to bring in symbols. Show me pictures or images of a memory, but not darn symbols. They are just too complicated sometimes.

A medium needs to direct their guides as to how they want to work. If you are clairaudient and you can’t hear the spirit person speaking, ask your guide to move them closer. If you can’t see them, ask your guide to make them clearer. If you tell them what you want, they WILL make it happen.

It's a lot of hard work to do my job, but then so is any job really. You just have to persevere. I'd love to hear how other mediums work.

How spiritual energies work.

Years ago, people suffering from mental illnesses such as schizophrenia and split personality disorders were said to be possessed by Demonic forces. That's how the word ‘possession ‘came about. Nowadays, medical science recognises that these illnesses do exist and are just disturbances of the mind. However I do need to add it is possible, to those who are spiritually aware, to experience a mild to quite severe spiritual attacks or unnerving experiences carried out on them by a spirit who is either cloaked in their own darkness (hell of their own making)or they are lost souls seeking help. These can be malignant spirit people and are often themselves in a confused and disturbed state of mind.

I know a lot of people believe that when you pass into the next world you go into a beautiful light. That is mostly true. But some don’t. Usually it’s those who feel that they have unfinished business or are not at peace enough to let their earthly ties go. Sometimes spirit people get stranded because they died very traumatically and on a very rare occasion, they don’t fully realise that they have died.

In the worst case scenario, vulnerable people can be over shadowed by a spirit person giving the feeling they are being Demonic Possessed, this is however very rare. Demonic possession to all intents and purposes is the ability for a bad spirit to have an effect on an individual’s mind.

Let me explain how I see possession.
Under normal circumstances Spirit do not have an ability to possess us whether they be good or bad in nature. Malignant spirit prey on your own fears, making you open and susceptible to their influences. Fear takes us to a more negative spiritual vibration, as fear itself is a negative vibration. The best defence is to keep a positive mind, therefore raising your vibration above theirs. Surround yourselves with a bubble of protective light to cast out and keep any negative influences away.
Fears are fuelled by superstitions which advocate the existence of evil such as demons and the devil.

Most mediums are aware there are those in spirit who are lost or cloaked in their own dark misery, but they aren’t demons, they are human souls. Hell exists within our own mind. No-one is denied transition into spirit, but there are lower planes within spirit for those who need to cast off their darkness and move on to higher planes of light. So it is important if we become awoken to spirit that we learn how to protect and shut ourselves down properly to avoid this conflict that might occur.

Orbs

I thought it would be nice to post some pictures of the orbs my groups and I have encountered over the course of last year. Please feel free to send me your pictures of spiritual goings on and I will post them. The way to see if an orb is an orb and not a refraction of light, is to blow it up. Inside will be a face or loads of colour's, like a rainbow. Quite beautiful.

This orb is quite magnificent. It was taken around the back of where I live. It is the place where the soldiers marched through on their way to the battle of hastings. There is a lot of spirit activity here. My whole group and I were amazed at this picture. Some, when blown up, appeared to be random flashes, but a lot of them are orbs and you can see which ones due to the colour spectrum inside them. It just goes to show, you never know who is behind you!

Spirit v Symbols

Symbolic messages.
People often say to me why do spirit send symbols instead of just saying ‘ hi, my names.......and I lived at.....I’ve come to say.........’ Well, sometimes they can communicate this way, but most of the time a spirit person has to communicate with you the best way they can. It is never an easy feat for them or the medium. Sometimes they do it by pulling up your own memories and using them. For instance, if I am speaking to a man in the armed forces, initially, I will get sent a picture of my son, who was in the army. This is known as a symbolic image. They will use the image of my own mother, to let me know they are a mother and so on and so forth.

Spirit people use whatever is stored in your head. So I always say watch every documentary you can, read every book you can lay your hands on. Even if you have little interest in the subject. I half watched a program on world war one. The next night while I was giving messages from the podium, images from that program began to flood my mind and I realised I had a spirit person from world war one with me.

There are so many symbols that spirit use. It is down to us to decipher them and it's not often easy to get it right. If you don’t understand a symbol ask spirit to send you another. Don’t waste time deliberating over them. Work with your guides and helpers, thats what they are there for. TALK to them. TELL them how you want to work. I now ask my guides not to bring in symbols. Show me pictures or images of a memory, but not darn symbols. It so hard muddling through them, when you have a sea of expectant faces waiting.

It is up to you to direct your guide as to how you want to work. If you are clairaudient and you can’t hear the spirit person speaking, ask your guide to move them closer. If you can’t see them, ask your guide to make them clearer. If you tell them what you want, they WILL make it happen.

What is kundalini energy?

I thought I would explain a bit about this type of energy within us as a student of mine inadvertantly tapped into hers when she was doing her Psychic Development modules.

Kundalini is an energy that exists in everyone's body, but it is usually in a dormant state. Consequently most people never know it is even there. But in a very few people, maybe just one in one thousand, this energy becomes awakened. This can be a happy event or it can be scary, painful and disruptive, depending on whether you aroused your kundalini on purpose or by accident.

The Sanskrit word, kundalini, means coiled, like a snake.It is an energy which is not recognized by medical science, and is often little understood even among teachers of Yoga and meditative traditions. Because of this misconception it is rarely spoken about or even used. But you will find it mentioned in the literature of Yoga and Tantra (both Buddhist and Hindu).

Some believe that the word "kundalini" is more metaphoric or legendary. But after experiencing its power, I can state it is very real. Kundalini enegy sits at the base of the spine. It can be "awakened" by intense meditation or intense breath control practices. Hatha Yoga and Tantra Yoga, in their traditional forms, are designed to arouse it so that the practitioner can use the tremendous energy released to increase the potency of his or her meditation and other spiritual practices. A person must undergo extensive preparations before attempting to arouse their kundalini. Otherwise it can cause more harm to the eprson than good.

The person who successfully and safely arouses their kundalini gains a great ally on their spiritual journey. That ally is an energy, a vitality, that smooth’s the path, and makes the steep slopes easier to climb. In short, Kundalini can change you quickly. It can advance your spiritual aspirations. But it is not something that should be undertaken lightly.

Our bodies hide many secrets. Some we will not discover in this lifetime. We are energy in physical form so it stands to reason somewhere in our body will be a back up generator. That being the Kundalini energy.

DEATH.

When spirit body is released from the physical one. Which allows you then to move from point to point by thought.

MEDIUM.

Types clairvoyance, clairaudience clairsentience.

People who can tune into faster vibrations are middlemen or mediators. They have a gift that enables them to go between the spiritual and physical world.

CLAIRVOYANT.

Derived from French word means clear vision see’s objects colours symbols people and spirit scenes.

CLAIRAUDIENCE.

Means clear hearing. Can hear spirits in room with physic ear, can hears sounds names voices and music, which vibrate on a higher frequency beyond normal range.

CLAISENTIENCE

Means clear feeling. Can sense spirits in room. Can feel spirit personality can give messages by strong feelings and emotions received. They use their mind and body’s can speak and do automatic writing.

ECTOPLASM.

Derived from Greek work ECTO which means outside. Plasma means moulded or formed. It’s invisible yet varies in states of denseness and can appear as gaseous or liquid. Is colourless, odourless and weightless. Mostly developed in mediums mainly seen in a dark setting as is very sensitive to light. Can come out of ears mouth and nose and the solar plexus. Can be utilised by the voice box. Sometimes can take form with legs arms and torso. Denseness of materialisation depends on developed state of medium.

HEALING.

Mediums body contains healing energy from spirit.

SPIRIT.

Spirits can’t interfere with karmic progression. Guardian angels can interfere and assist us on earthy missions. Before we are born our life plan is mapped out in a type of blue print when we veer off path guide will try and steer us back.

PERSONAL GUIDES.

Are people that we have known in previous incarnations? They impress in our minds ways to involve ourselves in situations. They can be a mother or father relative or friend.. When in spirit they will review how could have helped in life. Although help guide cannot interfere with lessons to be learnt on earth. They stand by and watch what decisions we make.

MASTREY OR SPECIALISED HELPER.

Spirits drawn to us based on archives of work. IE. Writer’s musician’s artist’s teachers.

SPIRIT OR MASTER TEACHER.

These are spiritually evolved and may have never lived in physical world, spiritual teacher have a strong desire to help with spiritual progression. They impress on us any special gifts we have.

LOST SOUL OR GHOST.

A person who died quickly with its spirit literally thrown from its body. Unaware it’s dead. Believes it’s dreaming. If disturbed they can become a poltergeist, but can only have as much strength as you let them.

TO GET RID OF A TROUBLE SPIRIT.

Play Ava Maria or religious music to reach the higher spiritual vibrations. Purifie rooms by cleansing the atmosphere. Burn sage, it clears dark energy. Have lots of natural light. Ask guides to be with you to assist before you start. Meditate to reach disturbed spirit. Let it know that they have passed on. If it needs to cross over send you love and compassion. It may take days and weeks.

A soul must learn the fullness and must learn positive and negative.

When we die after doing something we are ashamed of, negative feelings stay with our consciousness for a long time. If we died with unresolved issues the spirit can’t rest until it is put right.

A word in your ear

Whilst I agree there are mediums out there who are not as good as others, I do think it would be better to give them your support so they can have the confidence to grow, rather than discerning faces and grumbles. In the 25 years I have been servicing churches, I’ve had people ask me to ‘get my mum, tell me where she died, how she died, so on and so forth. Mediums are not here to prove to anyone the spirit world exists, they are just spiritual telephones that relay messages from loved ones. Sometimes it’s not the medium who can’t get the link that night, it maybe the spirit person who gets confused. So if a medium stumbles, or doesn’t give a message that’s taken, isn’t it better to grateful they gave their time trying to work with spirit? Not many mediums stand on that platform and get paid. I certainly don’t. I give my time freely because of my love for spirit. I work two jobs, I get tired. Yet I service churches, teach Psychic Development from home and run circles after work. Not because I’m a saint, but because of my love of spirit.

I hear grumbles from people who say that good mediums are rare. That is not true. I know many. I am very sad when I hear people moaning that the SNU churches are a waste of time, when so many good souls give their time to help others. As for quality of evidence, why not just be happy your loved one came through? Do you need to know they died of a heart attack on June the 6th? Or the cancer all over their body gave them great pain before they passed? NO. You know that already. Why would they come to tell you what you already know? It’s hard for them to come into our vibration and their link is limited to our physical time. They want to tell you what THEY feel. Such as they love you very much and sat beside you when you were crying...that’s the comfort/healing you need. Not cold forensic evidence.

If you have ever worked on platform you would know how nervous a medium is when they stand up and look at all those expectant faces. I feel physically ill every time, because I know I have such a responsibility to those people. Whilst I am not saying some mediums don’t get a little ahead of themselves, it’s only mostly through enthusiasm and excitement that spirit is talking/working through them.

When someone says a medium is working from the ego, it is very harsh. Before you judge, widen your spiritual world. Don’t say EVERY snu church is bad, until you have visited them all. If you see a medium you think is ‘bad’ ask yourself what you can do to help them. Send out a healing thought. ‘Help this medium tonight’ make your thoughts constructive, instead of destructive. There is a very old saying. ‘Don’t judge me until you have walked in my shoes’. We mediums need your love and understanding, not derision. That doesn’t nurture the spirit in anyway.

I hope I don’t sound too harsh, that’s not my intention. BUT, you must remember that everything we say and do has consequences. In the yin and yang of things, every action has a positive and negative reaction. So I hope you will take this as a positive reaction from me.

Food for thought

In life I've learned that no matter what happens, how bad it looks today, it will be better tomorrow. You can't go through life with a catcher's mitt on both hands.You need to be able to throw something back sometimes. I have found over the years that that if you chase happiness, it will elude you. But if you focus on your family, your friends, the needs of others, and you do the very best you can, happiness will find you. I posted this story last year. I like it so much I thought it deserved a re post.

The Wooden Bowl

A frail old man went to live with his son, daughter-in-law, and four-year-old grandson.
The old man's hands trembled, his eyesight was blurred, and his step faltered

The family ate together at the table. But the elderly grandfather's shaky hands and
failing sight made eating difficult. Peas rolled off his spoon onto the floor.
When he grasped the glass, milk spilled on the tablecloth.

The son and daughter-in-law became irritated with the mess.
'We must do something about father,' said the son.
'I've had enough of his spilled milk, noisy eating, and food on the floor.'

So the husband and wife set a small table in the corner.
There, Grandfather ate alone while the rest of the family enjoyed dinner.
Since Grandfather had broken a dish or two, his food was served in a wooden bowl.

When the family glanced in Grandfather's direction, sometimes he had a tear in his eye as he sat alone.
Still, the only words the couple had for him were sharp admonitions when he dropped a fork or spilled food.

The four-year-old watched it all in silence.

One evening before supper, the father noticed his son playing with wood scraps on the floor.
He asked the child sweetly, 'What are you making?' Just as sweetly, the boy responded,
'Oh, I am making a little bowl for you and Mama to eat your food in when I grow up.
' The four-year-old smiled and went back to work.

The words so struck the parents so that they were speechless. Then tears started to stream down their cheeks. Though no word was spoken, both knew what must be done.

That evening the husband took Grandfather's hand and gently led him back to the family table.
For the remainder of his days he ate every meal with the family. And for some reason,
neither husband nor wife seemed to care any longer when a fork was dropped, milk spilled, or the tablecloth soiled.

Malice

In an earlier post I spoke about Malice. Do people get pay back from a higher source, for the bad things they do in life? Below is a comment from Carole Owens I thought it really hit the nail on the head. Who else thinks this way, if not, how do you feel about it?

Each of us gets to make a decision in how our lives will go. Good or bad. Every deed and word sets a chain of events in motion. Like a drop of rain in a lake the ripples reach out and affect our lives. This is your message to the world about how you live your life . Sometimes you try very hard to do the right thing in the hope that the ripples will be kind and soothing. Sometimes you hope that they may inspire or deter some one else. Be patient and you will see a result. Eventually the ripple runs out of energy and it will be someone else’s turn to energise it.

I believe that if you send out positive ripples they will be returned to you. By the same token if you make a conscious decision to act negatively, this too will come back to you in kind. Now with every one sending out ripples you are bound to run into other peoples tidal waves from time to time. That’s just life. You might think you don't deserve the good/bad luck that you receive, but I think that your own wave will eventually return. The Malicious person will eventually get theirs. Not necessarily Malice returned, maybe a kindness that changes them.
The universe knows what you really need and it will send it to you.

Losing a child

Nothing can be worse than losing a child. Many people have come to me and ask why? What did I do so wrong that my child had to die? I have no easy answer. I can only tell you what my own guides have told me. They are not 'in charge' of life and death. That is of the physical world. They cry with us when a soul is returned.
No one did anything wrong. Sometimes things happen for no reason that can be explained. I can tell you with open hearted honesty, that any child returned to spirit will live on. No-one ever truly dies. They just disappear from our physical eyes, only to reappear when it is time for you both to be together again.

Last year I posted a poem from Beverley Stuive, in memory of her son Josiah James Alexander Stuive who died soon after birth 27/4/2001. It is so beautiful I thought I'd re-post it.

Heaven's Baby CastleIn a baby's castle just beyond my eye
My baby plays with angel toys that money cannot buy

A Question

The question I am always asked is ...When a person deliberately and maliciously intends harm to another what is the recourse? What happens to that unkind person? I found this response on a spiritual network that answered this far better than I ever could.

It is from a spirit guide.

In the whole environment of manifestation the ying and yang of experience occurs continuously. Those who participate in a negative fashion will + shall ultimately evolve to a more positive position.

The balance between good + evil exists singularly and vastly in all experiences. Each soul/entity seeks to understand all aspects of existence.

Currently this negative individual is highly involved with negative perspective. Her soul is seeking balance but is finding it hard to do so. In this life she may not be successful. However, be assured that she will seek you out in another moment to make restitution for her negativity this time.

Send her positive energy even if you feel slighted by the encounter. She is not getting away with anything in the big picture. It is her lack of self that propels her to act in this fashion. It continues as her thirst for connection eludes her throughout her negativity. She suffers more than you know. You only see the illusion of the environment she has created. The balance pursues her and it is not pleasant.

Dispair

Despair from a spiritual definition is where a consciousness chooses its self into a corner where no matter what decision is made, the end result is non-movement in the soul's evolution.

It is important to stop the negative thoughts through meditation or another physical/soulful process. There are no standard processes as each of you are unique representations of your soul.

Look despair in the face & consciously decide to make different choices. It will not be easy. Many linear (inappropriate) things will fall away. The goal is to jump start the soul energy. By doing so, a new creative opportunity will become available.

Leaving this world

Well it’s been dome time since I’ve blogged and I have only just started catching up with myself. Before I get back on topic, I’d like to talk about how I felt when a loved one passed away so suddenly last month. I was surprised how many people said to me ‘but why are you sad your mother in law died? You know where she is, you know she is okay." Yes I do know, but I am also human and as such, grieve her loss dearly. The same month I also lost my little dog, Chester. A double blow. For a time I wondered what was the point of loving so much, for it all to be snatched away. The simple fact is... we are born, we live and then we die, so our spirit can journey on and grow. The one’s left behind feel lost, alone and sometimes unable to cope with never seeing that person/animal again. Time heals! Yet does it for some? Can anyone share their feelings about losing someone? How do you cope?

Spiritual Possession

Many of us at some stage in our lives have felt or feared what we might believe is an evil spiritual presence. I have to say in my experience, most of the time they are mistaken. The usual cause is our own fears of the unknown. What people usually experience is their own spirit guide or loved one in spirit who has come for a visit. The feelings spirit give off at times can produce a number of sensations that can cause fear. That’s why I believe sometimes if you feel these sensations strongly it’s a good idea to do a Psychic Development course to understand what is happening. Once you understand the sensations and how spirit use their energies to communicate, you will find you have nothing to be fearful about. But, in saying that, everyone has their own natural in-built fears and caution of the unknown that can sometimes get the better of them. It stems from instinctual self preservation and also partly comes from our own beliefs concerning spiritual matters.

Here is how it works.

Spirit people blend their energies within our aura. This can cause you feel all sorts of strange sensations. Tingling on your face or body, the hairs on the back of your necks stand on end, along with goose bumps and cold shivers down your spine. Now many of these sensations are associated with fear, but let me tell you that true spiritual attacks or hauntings are very rare. You can read another article on this website about hauntings. Years ago, people suffering from mental illnesses such as schizophrenia and split personality disorders were said to be possessed by Demonic forces. Hence how the word ‘possession ‘came about. Nowadays, medical science recognises that these illnesses do exist and are just disturbances of the mind. However I do need to add it is possible, to those who are spiritually aware, to experience a mild to quite severe spiritual attacks or unnerving experiences carried out on them by a spirit who is either cloaked in their own darkness (hell of their own making)or they are lost souls seeking help. These can be malignant spirit people and are often themselves in a confused and disturbed state of mind.

I know a lot of people believe that when you pass into the next world you go into a beautiful light. That is mostly true. But some don’t. Usually those who feel that they have unfinished business or are not at peace enough to let their earthly ties go. Sometimes spirit people get stranded because they died very traumatically and on a very rare occasion, they don’t fully realise that they have died.

In the worst case scenario, vulnerable people can be over shadowed by a spirit person giving the feeling they are being Demonic Possessed, this is however very rare. Demonic possession to all intents and purposes is the ability for a bad spirit to have an effect on an individuals mind. This can vary from mild sensations to a spirit being able to over shadow to the extent of taking control of the mind for a tim,but But the body.

So let’s discuss possession of a sort.

Crystal Children

This is the first part in a series exploring these very unique children.

So what are Crystal Children I hear you ask? These Crystal Children very powerful children first appeared in 2000. Their main purpose is to take us to the next level in our evolution and bring a powerful force for love and peace on the planet. You will recognise a Crystal Child by their large penetrating eyes. To look into them is like looking into ancient eyes. They have opalescent auras, with beautiful multi-colours in pastel hues. This generation also shows a fascination for crystals and rocks. They point the way for humanity... and it’s a good direction! Many are deemed backward as they often have delayed speech, but the parents don’t have a problem communicating with their quiet children. Philosophical and spiritually gifted all Crystal Children display an unprecedented level of kindness and sensitivity to this world.

So now comes the technical part. The children are born on the Sixth Dimension of Consciousness, with the potential to open up rapidly to the Ninth Dimensional level of Full Christ Consciousness, and then from there to the Thirteenth Dimension which represents Universal Consciousness. They exist on the Gold Ray of Incarnation and Evolution. Because of this they are gifted. Many being creative with light and sound. Those who carry the Indigo-Silver Ray, are gifted as the "mothers" of the planet, and carry the feminine vibration of healing and nurturing. Those born on the Red-Gold Ray, carry the masculine vibration of manifestation and are often the leaders in the more active sense.

These unique children of the future will be known as a Rainbow Crystal being. This is the fully developed Thirteen Dimensional Universal Human Being, able to carry and transmit all the Rays of Incarnation and Evolution within their vibrational field. The Rainbow Crystal children are few and have yet to open into their full potential. By just by being here they assist others open up to their full potential. Be assured that Crystal children are an integral and dynamic part of the evolutionary leap into a new and Golden future.

Healing the Physical Body

Through years of neglect, improper nutrition, air/water/food pollutants and daily stress mismanagement we have basically become walking septic systems. That sounds harsh, but think about it. Our inner world is being polluted all the time. Between the polluted air we breathe, the pesticide laden food we eat and the chemically treated water that we drink, our bodies slowly build up momentum that causes internal eruptions. Our physical body has stress points, much like our planet. And although as an individual we can't clean the world, we can save our inner world.
The first step is to cleaning out all the toxins using Herbs, Vitamins, fasts, colonic flushes, diet and water consumption, to name but a few. The choice is yours – but please make sure that you are educated in your choice and if not, seek a qualified professionals advice.
Next you need to repair the physical damage. There are plenty of natural products that can help our bodies. Find out what foods contain the necessary vitamins, minerals, nutrients, trace minerals, enzymes and photochemical that the body need to function properly. If you choose to use herbs, tinctures are usually the best way to go as they are absorbed through the blood vessels under the tongue. Again, it is very important that you are well informed and get the help of a qualified professional, as there are tests that can be done to find out just what your body is lacking or not producing. A practitioner with 'user experience' is a necessity.
When we live the Spiritual way, we learn to listen to our bodies and Guides. We also learn to understand the signals, ie, aches and pains. So we can heal from a higher vibrational level. It is very possible to recreate and reprogram the diseased patterns of the body.
I also believe that every herb and plant was put here for our benefit and since we are the ones who are destroying our bodies, then we should have a hand in restoring and healing them. This holds true on all levels of healing. To quote an old cliché..."God helps those who help themselves." Never a truer word.

The language of dreams.

This language is unique to the subconscious mind during sleep each night. Dreams express our feelings and emotions through pictures, symbols, expressions, slang, metaphors, etc. Some people say they never dream, but in fact everyone dreams, whether they are remembered or not. All information from our waking experiences is stored in the subconscious mind and used to relay our problems, conflicts, desires, and any other situation that needs to be dealt with, resolved, or at the very least filed away for later perusal. Just as life presents us with situations that we must deal with, dreams also present us with situations that we must face in one way or another. They can be forgotten or even ignored, but the fact of the matter is they have a nagging way of getting to the heart of things whether we want to face them or not. Recurring dreams and recurring themes is the subconscious mind’s way of signalling to us that something needs our attention.
For the most part, dreams are played out in a picture language that is capable of condensing a vast amount of information into a single picture or even a short “movie” that gets dramatized for us during sleep. These complex images can sometimes make perfect sense inside the dream, but once we awaken the information quickly gets jumbled, and we end up not giving it too much thought and they are quickly forgotten. However, you can learn how to pay attention and most importantly, learn how to interpret them. Keeping a dream journal and learning dream interpretation techniques will start you on your way to discovering the importance and meanings of your nightly excursions.
Most dreams are packed with significant meaning and are certainly worth the effort of figuring out what they are. Some are unimportant, but that is up to the individual to decide. In the paranormal realm, dreams fall into categories of ESP, psychic, precognitive, conscious, spiritual, lucid dreams. Popular dreams that fall under these categories are visits from the deceased, and those that are problem-solving.
Not paying attention to your dreams is equivalent to going to the movies and not paying attention to the screen in front of you. This means that you miss out on an opportunity to learn something new. However boring or strange it may seem, every dream can be an opportunity for learning if you pay enough attention to its message. It is also noteworthy to remember that if you miss the opportunity to get to know yourself better, it won’t come around again in a hurry.

Are you aware that your subconscious mind can endeavour to control you instead of your rational conscious mind?

When I was in high school we had physical education and it was common for us to play competitive sports. This meant choosing up teams when playing netball. The way the choosing was done is the gym teacher would pick to team captains, generally the best players, and they would take turns picking players for their teams. Of course they would pick the best players first so the picking of teams was a way of rating the students according to ability. If a girl was athletic she would be picked early and if she was perceived by her peers not to be athletic she would be picked last.

I was always last and would have to endure the embarrassment of hearing the Captain say "OK, we’ll take Margaret." When I filtered this through my unconscious mind it came out as "Our team’s so good that we can win even if we have the handicap of having a loser such as Margaret on our side." My unconscious brain interpreted this to mean that I was a loser. I was not wanted or needed on the team and it was an easy jump from that to assume that this was true about me as a person and should be applied to other parts of my life.

I spent most of my youth with a low self esteem in regard to my interacting with other people, and sport. I was not great at any sport. Was this the truth? It was the truth as my brain saw it and because I imagined it was the truth it became true for me. Later on in life I had experiences that taught me that in fact I was pretty good at other sports such as jumping hurdles for a charity sports day and I was especially good at the long jump.

So did I suddenly become good at this? No. The thing that changed was my perception of myself. As long as I carried the belief that I was not good at sport it was a self fulfilling prophecy. Once I change that belief about myself the new belief manifested itself in what I was able to do. The subconscious mind cannot tell the difference between real and imagined experiences. If my subconscious mind thinks I am a loser because I was picked last for the netball team that is real for me, even if it is not the truth. The truth is that my other ability hadn’t manifested yet. That did not make me worthless or a loser.

In conclusion we create our own reality by effectively using our imaginations. If we don’t like the way we are relating to the world, we have the power to change it. We can’t change it by changing other people’s views, because the way that we perceive the world is not their fault. We begin the change by imagining the world the way we want to see it. We can reprogram our subconscious mind with positive affirmations and visualizations. We are incredibly powerful, but only if we recognize and choose to use that power. If we do, there are no limits to what we can achieve.

Mandala's

Today I want to chat about Mandalas. What are they and what do they do?

Firstly let me explain the word Mandala. It is an Indian Sanskrit word that means "circle". But it is far more than a simple shape. It represents wholeness, a cosmic diagram that reminds us of our relation to the infinite, the world that extends both beyond and within our bodies and minds. When working with it on a spiritual level, Mandala’s may be used for establishing a sacred space, as an aid for meditation and trance. It can help you to access progressively deeper levels of the unconscious mind. Carl Jung saw the Mandala as a representation of the unconscious self. He believed his paintings of them enabled him to identify emotional disorders and work towards wholeness. If you really think about it, the Mandala appears in all aspects of life. The celestial circles - earth, sun, and moon. They are healing mediums for the soul - the merging of body, spirit and soul.

In my Psychic Development circle last week we each studied a Mandala for about 5 minutes. I do not recommend that you do this for any longer in the beginning. I discovered that each person experienced a different thing. Mine began to spin. The outer purple rim became blurred and the inner circles more heightened. When doing this I believe you are in a semi trance state of mind. If you relaxed further, the mandala will begin to work on your energy centre's. Energising your chackra's. Calming your mind.

A spirit guides message about losing someone.

The Dearly Departed

"The loss of a loved one leaves many in physical isolated and alone. Depression may result from these feelings, which can broaden the perceived emptiness. It is important to maintain the knowledge that there is continuance. Your loved ones do indeed know that you grieve. It can be difficult for them because they still have complete awareness of you while those left in physical feel the door has been closed forever.

Know that the entrance to the spirit world is effortless once the body is discarded. A great feeling of emancipation accompanies many crossings from a body that is no longer functional + confining. Every experience is unique unto that particular energy, so there is no standard to the definition.

'Does he/she know that I miss him/her?' Yes and the intention of his/her thoughts are always to send you a message. Often he/she feels successful but there are moments when he/she senses that the opportunity was not embraced and the moment missed.

We suggest that if you have lost a loved one that you still your grief as much as possible. The moment of connection is often brief since the loved can no longer manipulate physical environments the way they did before. The ascent into spirit heightens the senses of the departed encouraging them to seek out opportunities of connection. It may take linear time for them to figure out how their new spirit 'reality' works.

Be patient.

Be still.

Pay attention to the small moments. They are often filled with messages from the departed that are more subtle than one would expect. In the beginning it may be more difficult for them because they are in the process of remembering what it means to be nonphysical. It is a more fluid environment and communication skills may be altered from what they previously knew.

The first moments might be a mere whisper in the wind that will crescendo into a cascade of communication.

Be patient.

Pay attention.

The dearly departed are whispering. They are still dear and close to you. It's just that they are now of spirit.

Pay attention.

Set aside your grief and know they are still there. Feel their love + their messages.

Look around for they are indeed everywhere."

You and the spirit world.

A few people have come to me the past few weeks scared and confused because they can see, hear, feel a spirit person around them. First of all, congratulations. Why do I say that? Because you can do something that takes some people years of training to do. You have a wonderful gift. You can communicate with the other side of life. So how does this work? Firstly. Spirit people do not see you as a person. They see you as light, because we are all made up from vibrational energy. Your light shines the brightest when you are asleep and the spirit people are drawn to it like moths to a flame. The Alpha state of consciousness is when you are in between sleep and wakefulness. This is the time when the spirit world and physical world can connect. Spiritual dreams happen, we speak to our loved ones and of course, we get visitations.
How to stop this? As I find it amazing, I don’t know why you want to. But rationally I understand that it can be a frightening experience to those who have no understanding of the spirit world. I find a smokey quartz, cleansed and placed beside the bed mostly stops spirit visitations. Time has no meaning in spirit, so when they come and poke you hello, it can be four in the morning to you and very unpleasant. Smokey quartz grounds your energy and stops you floating off to connect with spirit in your sleep.
Understanding the spirit world will make it less frightening for you. So read all you can about it. A famous quote is “There is nothing to be scared of except fear itself.” A very true fact.

A baby castle

Who am I to wish her back into this world of strife?
No, play on my darling, you have eternal life.
At night when I am resting, yet sleep forsakes my eyes
I hear her heavenly footstep come running to my side
Her little hands caress me so gentle and so sweet
I breathe a sigh and say a prayer and embrace her in my sleep.
For I have a blessing
That I can rate above all other
I have found true glory
I am still her mother.

Ghosts and Spirits

Many people ask me what's the difference between ghosts and spirits. The simple answer is ghosts haunt, spirits help. Ghosts manifest from residual energy. You can't interact with them because it will be like trying to speak to an actor in a movie your watching. Its like an etheric play. An event in a persons life that's so traumatic they leave behind a blueprint of it that, which replays over again. This is why people say they see ghosts every night walking through a castle. 'The ghost stared straight ahead, didn't even look at me' that's what I usually hear. That's because they can't see/hear/feel you. Your not part of their event.
Spirits are people who have gone to the other side of life. BUT, I must stress, just because they have crossed over, it doesn't make them super hero's. Their personality doesn't change just because they've died. If they helped you in life with good advice, they will still do that spirit side. If they always steered you wrong, they will continue to do that from the other side. In my experience, spirit people come back with messages for their loved ones because they might be able to help, give comfort, release that person form their debilitating grief, Tell them 'I'm all right'. So many people ask me, is my mum, dad, etc all right? Of course they are. Once a person leaves the confines of physical life, they leave behind illness, disfigurement, or impairment in any way. It reminds me of a story Colin Fry once told. He had a son from spirit who came to speak to his mother and father. Whilst they understood the message, they didn't recognise the handsome, upright man. Colin said to the spirit man they don't know you. The man said they will know me like this. His image changed to that of a man with severe Downs syndrome. The parents then cried. They suddenly realised their son was was more than all right. His spirit was whole again.

When people lose a limb, many say they can still feel it. I believe this is because the spirit is still whole. What they feel is their spiritual self. People from all walks of life come to me. But they all leave with the same thought. Death is NOT the end. It's the beginning of a wondrous journey. The ones that suffer the most are those people left behind. In my 25 years experience, spirit people come back to try and ease that pain. To give evidence they are still around you.

So remember. Hold your loved ones close to your heart. Tell them you love them everyday. Don't wait untill it's too late and you have to come to someone like me to relay the message for you.

Crystal Power

I went to church last night and our regular closed circle turned into a physical circle. The number attending were low, so we decided to do something different. It was a wonderful evening full of laughter and suprises. The question I ask, is everything really random? Things happen for a reason. I’m not talking about the bad stuff here. I’m talking about random events that take you down different pathways. I never thought I’d ever go to a spiritualist church. The thought I might see dead people scared the living daylights out of me. Yet, through a chain of events, I found myself regularly attending open circles. A place where you learn about spirit. Suddenly I wasn’t so afraid anymore. So fear is based on the unknown. As humans what we don’t understand, we fear.
Crystals. Some see them as pretty objects to be admired, while others see them as working tools. As a doctor see’s his stethoscope, a surgeon his scalpel. Do they have the power to heal? Huge ones are found below the earth. But did they grow randomly or are they the earth’s life force. A type of natural energy boost, which keeps the planet from falling to pieces.

Carrots, Egg & Coffee

A carrot, an egg, and a cup of coffee...

A young woman went to her mother and told her about her life and how things were so hard for her. She did not know how she was going to make it and wanted to give up, She was tired of fighting and struggling. It seemed as one problem was solved, a new one arose.
Her mother took her to the kitchen. She filled three pots with water and placed each on a high fire. Soon the pots came to boil. In the first she placed carrots, in the second she placed eggs, and in the last she placed ground coffee beans. She let them sit and boil; without saying a word.
After twenty minutes she turned off the burners. She fished the carrots out and placed them in a bowl. She pulled the eggs out and placed them in a bowl. Then she ladled the coffee out and placed it in a bowl. Turning to her daughter, she asked, " Tell me what you see.""Carrots, eggs, and coffee," she replied.
Her mother brought her closer and asked her to feel the carrots. She did and noted that they were soft. The mother then asked the daughter to take an egg and break it. After pulling off the shell, she observed the hard-boiled egg. Finally, the mother asked the daughter to sip the coffee. The daughter smiled as she tasted its rich aroma. The daughter then asked, "What does it mean, mother?"
Her mother explained that each of these objects had faced the same adversity: boiling water. Each reacted differently. The carrot went in strong, hard, and unrelenting. However, after being subjected to the boiling water, it softened and became weak.
The egg had been fragile. Its thin outer shell had protected its liquid interior, but after sitting through the boiling water, its inside became hardened.
The ground coffee beans were unique, however. After they were in the boiling water, they had changed the water.
"Which are you?" she asked her daughter. "When adversity knocks on your door, how do you respond? Are you a carrot that seems strong, but with pain and adversity, wilt and become soft and lose your strength?
Are you the egg that starts with a malleable heart, but changes with the heat? Did I have a fluid spirit, but after a death, a breakup, a financial hardship or some other trial, you become hardened and stiff? Does my shell look the same, but on the inside am I bitter and tough with a stiff spirit and hardened heart?
Or are you like the coffee bean? The bean changes the hot water, the very circumstance that brings the pain. When the water gets hot, it releases the fragrance and flavor. If you are like the bean, when things are at their worst, you get better and change the situation around you.

Beliefs

Belief is a tiny word with a huge meaning. If you look it up in the dictionary it will say it is the conviction of the mind, arising from evidence received, or from information derived, not from actual perception by our senses. In other words we need to have Faith. Again a small word, with a huge meaning.

Believing in ourselves allows us to expand, to try out new things, to move forward in our lives. To do this you need to have faith that you are right. Not many people can do this. I especially hold the golden crown for not believing in myself and what I can do.

So how do we achieve this blissful state? Only you can answer that one. I achieve it by releasing things that no longer nurture my spirit. Anything that takes me back to negativity is tying me down. Have faith and believe that what is in the past should stay there and that you and only you have the power to move forward in life. Take back that power which is lost to you. Hold it, nurture it. Believe it is there for you to use and then everything will fall into place. Everything will be as it should. Balance will be restored.

Keep your fork

Someone gave me this story a couple of years ago. It has really stuck in my mind, so I thought I'd share it.

There was a young woman who had been diagnosed with a terminal illness and had been given three months to live. So as she was getting her things "in order," she contacted her pastor and had him come to her house to discuss certain aspects of her final wishes. She told him which songs she wanted sung at the service, what scriptures she would like read, and what outfit she wanted to be buried in.

Everything was in order and the pastor was preparing to leave when the young woman suddenly remembered something very important to her. "There's one more thing," she said excitedly.
"What's that?" came the pastor's reply.
"This is very important," the young woman continued."I want to be buried with a fork in my right hand."
The pastor stood looking at the young woman, not knowing quite what to say.
"That surprises you, doesn't it?" the young woman asked.
"Well, to be honest, I'm puzzled by the request," said the pastor.
'In all my years of attending church socials and potluck dinners, I always remember that when the dishes of the main course were being cleared, someone would inevitably lean over and say, 'Keep your fork' It was my favorite part because I knew that something better was coming ... like velvety chocolate cake or deep-dish apple pie. Something wonderful, and with substance!' So, I just want people to see me there in that casket with a fork in my hand and I want them to wonder "What's with the fork?". Then I want you to tell them: "Keep your fork ... the best is yet to come."

At the funeral people were walking by the young woman's casket and they saw the pretty dress she was wearing and the fork placed in her right hand. Over and over, the pastor heard the question "What's with the fork?" And over and over he smiled. During his message, the pastor told the people of the conversation he had with the young woman shortly before she died. He also told them about the fork and about what it symbolized to her.
The pastor told the people how he could not stop thinking about the fork and told them that they probably would not be able to stop thinking about it either.
He was right.

So the next time you reach down for your fork, let it remind you ever so gently, that the best is yet to come.
Cherish the time you have with family and the memories you share . Being friends with someone is not an opportunity, but also a responsibility.

Intuition. What is it?

Let’s Talk about intuition.

Above the rational mind and below the soul realm is an intermediary plane of consciousness that I call the intuitional. It is very difficult to characterize this realm, because it transcends mental concepts but is still not a realm of being like the soul. The intuitional plane is the "highest" or most subtle and universal part of the created worlds. Although God and souls are the truly creative agents of the universe, we could say that the process of creating begins with the intuition and then moves to concepts, feeling responses, images and shapes, and finally physical manifestation. Thus intuition is a key to initiating creativity..

What exactly is this I hear you ask?
Well the only way I can explain it is that it’s the inner feelings that guide you in your life. Because the intuitional realm transcends the mind, it is often thought of as unconscious. This has nothing to do with emotional feelings that tell you what you feel regarding situations or relationships. Your emotions for example can be telling you that you are very attracted to someone, that you really like them and that you would really enjoy becoming involved and close to them while your intuition can be telling you NO WAY - BACK OFF. Intuitive feelings come from the larger, inner part of yourself.

Intuition does not consciously reason with logic in the mind, but rather directly perceives the vibrations of consciousness outside your own mind. Intuition does not just perceive on the intuitional level, it t can also discover things about the physical world, the astral plane, people's feelings and ideas by using psychic perception. Intuition can be flooded with creative inspiration directly from Spirit.

So now I know what it is, how can I develop it?
Many people are either not in touch with their intuition or are only partially in touch. Intuitive feelings are often subtle and fine, so if your life is very chaotic and busy, with no room for you to give yourself some quite quality time, then you will probably find your intuition difficult if not impossible to recognize.
The first thing you need to do is give yourself some time to relax. The second thing you need to do is learn to focus inwards. That is to become aware of what is happening inside of yourself. Most people don't do this. So, the first thing you must do is decide to get in touch with your inner you and find out what is happening there. Feel what you are feeling in different parts of your body, just breathe and BE. What are you feeling in your abdomen area? Your chest? Your upper legs? Is there tension, sadness, confusion? Is there nothing? Often there is nothing if you don't want to feel? So, then ask yourself why you don't want to feel?
This takes practice to do this and sometimes courage? I found books on meditation were a great help. Mediation puts you in touch with the inner you.

Where does intuition come from?
I believe (and it’s only MY belief, other people have their own) intuition initially comes from the soul. Now, as you are here with a particular agenda, then most of your intuition will be trying to keep you in alignment with this agenda, helping you to complete it.
Levels of Intuition.
1. You can be completely out of touch with your inner communication and have no intuition.
2. You can have intuition that comes from someone else. This focus could be from spiritual guidance and is for the most part may be driven by their agendas and affiliations and not your own.
3. Intuition that comes from you taking full responsibility for your path and your own decisions in forging that path. Here the primary focus is from yourself. Secondary focus will come from those YOU select as people who can support and help you in YOUR movement.
4. A deeper intuition arises as you integrate more and more with your soul. This happens concurrently as a deeper level of communion and wholeness arises within yourself.

Where does your intuition take you?
It will take you in alignment with the focus of what you want. If you don't particularly have a focus, or what you do have is not strong, then it may well be that your orientation comes from the higher spiritual guidance. I believe that people who blindly follow others have not done the basic growing necessary to make their own decisions and take responsibility for themselves. In these cases the primary focus should be on becoming secure and confident.

Mediumship

Believe it or not, people have been able to communicate with the spirit world for thousands of years. There are references to mediumistic acts throughout the bible and other spiritual writings. Moses, Mary, Peter and many more people all had experiences which have been labelled as visions, angels appearing unto them or speaking in tongues. These can be classed as physical phenomena, with materialisation being just one form of physical phenomena that we as humans can experience when communicating with the spirit world.

Physical Mediumship really started in the mid 1800's. People have been using various methods to communicate with the spirit world. Spirit are trying all the time to communicate with us and will take every opportunity to do so through whatever means is available.

Let’s talk briefly about Ouija boards. Call them what you like, but they are not a good spirit tool. You have to remember not all spirits have good intentions; there are mischievous and negative spirits around. Like attracts like and if you are a depressed, negative or have mental health problems, this board can only bring you trouble.

Physical Mediumship It should only be practised in properly controlled environments with the correct supervision and safeguards in place to ensure the safety of the medium. It takes time and patience to practice. The conditions have to be right for spirit to appear in whatever form. The energy used by spirit is a lot greater in this form of communication than with mental mediumship. In most cases a medium goes into deep trance for the spirit to work through them. The medium is not possessed by the spirit and is in control at all times. The spirit person can communicate using the vocal chords of the medium to, or produce ectoplasm from various parts of the mediums body.

What is ectoplasm?
If you look up the word ectoplasm it will say it is a strange, visible, semi-fluid substance, that is believed to emanate from the body of a physical medium/spiritualistic medium. In fact one vital point is missed out. There has to be a certain chemical balance within the body of the medium that can mix with a certain energy sent by those in spirit. There are sadly too few mediums who have this chemical balance.
The term Ectoplasm was used by a French scientist named Charles Richet in 1894 a former president of the Society for Psychical Research. He was the first to use the term, to explain a third arm that allegedly appeared from a medium named Eusapia Palladino. Ectoplasm comes from the Greek words "ekto" and "plasma", meaning "exteriorized substance".
This type of spirit communication is very rare and should not be confused with ghosts or apparitions, as the spirit will use the energy built up in the room by those present to materialise.

Here are some other types of physical Mediumship.

Transfiguration. Here the face of a spirit person can be seen formed over the mediums face like a mask. I have witnessed, and also been used as the medium for this phenomena. It made me jump at first to see faces appearing, because it wasn't just one face, several appeared in succession. The faces can be very clear at times, with the mediums face completely disappearing. Often a mediums face will go completely dark as the spirit face builds. It feels very strange and I know that’s an inadequate word. The face tingles, feels likes it’s stretching and sometimes it itches like crazy. But it is a wonderful experience.

Direct Voice. Objects called trumpets are used for this type of communication. They are conical shaped objects with holes at both ends. The trumpet is placed in the centre of the circle of people present, when the atmosphere is right for spirit they will make the trumpet float in the air and use it for communication. This sounds hard to believe, but it does happen. The sound is created from an artificial throat box formed from ectoplasm and comes from the pointed end of the trumpet.

Apports. This is a physical object bought through by spirit usually to the group of people sitting for communication. The objects can be almost anything from flowers, books, jewellery and even money. People do not usually sit for the purpose of bringing apports through, they just happen during a séance or closed circle if the spirit wishes to do so for what ever reason.

I never do the address in church. I leave that to the more experienced people. You're supposed to say something meaningful to the public, before the medium starts. I can never think of anything to say that would interest anyone. I found this story a while back and kept it just in case I was ever called up onto the rostrum to do an impromptu address. Read it and know, that sometimes everything isn't always as it seems!

A ship was wrecked during a storm at sea and only two of the men
on it were able to swim to a small desert like island. The two
survivors, not knowing what else to do, agreed that they have no
other recourse but to pray to God for help.

However, to find out whose prayer was more powerful, they decided
to divide the territory between them and stay on opposite sides
of the island.

The first thing they prayed for was food. The next morning, the
first man saw a fruit-bearing tree on his side of the island, and
he was able to eat its fruit. The other man's parcel of land
remained barren.

After a week, the first man was lonely and he decided to pray for
a wife. The next day, there was another ship wreck, and the only
survivor was a woman who swam to his side of the island. On the
other side of the island, there still was nothing.

Soon the first man prayed for a house, clothes, and more food.
The next day, like magic, all of these things were given to him.
However, the second man still had nothing.

Finally, the first man prayed for a ship, so that he and his wife
could leave the island. In the morning, he found a ship docked on
his side of the island. The first man boarded the ship with his
wife and decided to leave the second man on the island. He
considered the other man unworthy to receive God's blessings,
since none of his prayers had been answered.

As the ship was about to leave, the first man heard a voice from
heaven boom-out, "Why are you leaving your companion on the
island?"

"My blessings are mine alone, since I was the one who prayed for
them," the first man answered. "His prayers were all unanswered
and so he does not deserve anything."

"You are mistaken!" the voice rebuked him. "He had only one
prayer, which I answered. If not for that, you would not have
received any of my blessings."

"Tell me," the first man asked the voice, "what did he pray for
that I should owe him anything?"

"He prayed that all your prayers would be answered."

Reincarnation

Some people theorise Reincarnation rests on the belief that after the death of the physical body there is some element left of each person that then goes on to survive. They begin another journey if their existence and therefore the end is only the beginning.

In my opinion I think that once separated from the body the soul becomes all intelligence. In our lifetime it would be very difficult to function if past lives were constantly being remembered. So I believe this is why the soul which the mind cannot touch with thought retains the knowledge if the incarnations and not the spirit.

When we die the two reconnect until the next life begins. I think that we are here on this earth to learn from the raw materials of physical experience. But because we have free will we make some choices which are not always wise and do not nurture our spirit and soul.

1. Claircognizant:

You may be Claircognizant or intuitive and have an inner knowing about things. The information, idea, concept or thought "just comes to you" and has the feeling of "this is important". The knowledge you receive often flashes suddenly into your mind seemingly "out of no where". You may know who is on the phone before you answer it or know personal things about people you just met. You just know something, although you may not know why or how you know it.

2. Clairaudient:

You may be clairaudient and psychically hear sounds, words, sentences, thoughts, tones, music, bells, chimes, ringing, whooshing, buzzing, white noise sounds, songs, and other types of sounds or noises that "pop into your head". You may hear conversations as you fall asleep or wake up between people you may not see. These sounds and words are inaudible to the normal hearing range and most often seem to come from within your head or "out of nowhere".

3. Clairvoyant:

You may also be clairvoyant and see pictures flash in your mind's inner third eye as in-sights. These pictures come as a clear vision or they may be nebulous forms hidden in a cloudy substance. What you see may appear to be superimposed upon a solid object that's in front of you when your eyes are open or you may see the vision within your forehead when your eyes are closed. When the image is of a psychic origin and you aren't thinking it up yourself, the image is seen first and then thought about. It is usually not thought up and then seen.

You may psychically see a person, scene, object, lights, words, colours, auras, symbols, past lives, loved ones in spirit, visions of the past, present or future, and people or places in other spiritual dimensions. These pictures may appear as if you are viewing still photographs or they may be moving like a home movie. You may even feel you are actually in the scene you are seeing.

4. Clairsentient:

You may also be clairsentient and perceive information through a sensation within your physical body. You may get a "gut feeling" in your stomach of what to do or say. You may also get a "gut feeling" of what not to say or do. You may even sense the body aches and ill health of someone else not in the room in specific parts of your own physical body. You may also feel the emotions or personality of another person whom you do not know personally or who is not in the room. You may sense the presence of deceased relatives, guides, and angels.

5. Clairgustant:

You may be clairgustant and psychically taste a substance, liquid or food without actually putting anything in your mouth.

6. Clairiscentrist:

You may also be Clairiscentrist and psychically smell fragrances, flowers, perfume or other odours such as tobacco or alcohol even when a substance or food is not in your immediate surroundings.

My interpretation of the purpose in understanding and accepting life after death.

Ever since I was a child I always ‘felt’ something one was standing just behind me, or just on the border of my peripheral vision. It terrified me. As I matured the feelings seemed to go away and it wasn’t until my children were grown up that the ‘feelings’ returned.

If you had asked me what these feelings were, I couldn’t have put it into adequate words. It was as though someone was standing so close to me I could feel their breath, sense their thoughts. The hairs on the back of my neck would rise, but when I turned no one was there.

One night I was woken by my name being called. At first I thought it was my imagination and I went back to sleep, but within minutes the voice shouted again. In my sleep fogged state I thought it could be one of the children calling me. I didn’t realise at the time that they wouldn’t be calling me ‘Margaret.’ After I had checked the bedrooms and seen the children fast asleep, I became confused. I rationalised that it could have been my husband dreaming and calling out to me.

I went back to bed satisfied with my own explanation only to we woken again by the insistent calling. After a week of sleepless nights I told my mother, who had been a spiritualist for many years, what was happening. She told me it could be the disembodied voices of spirit people calling out to me. I didn’t actually believe her. Dead people couldn’t talk, never mind call out to me.

The voices continued to call out, especially at night. It would happen anywhere. While shopping, watching the TV or just when I was writing my novels. My name would be shouted out as clear as the birds singing outside my window. But I rationalised it as my imagination. I didn’t believe there was such a thing as life after death.

Finally, the calling became so insistent that I had to confront it. So, albeit reluctantly, I went to a spiritualist church. Once there I was incredulous to discover I was sitting with a group of people who had similar experiences as me. I thought my purpose for being there was to understand what the voices were and why they were calling out to me. I think the higher purpose was for me to understand how to use the psychic gifts I already had.

The greatest way to combat fear is to confront it. I was scared to admit there could be life after death, because that would mean that ghosts did in fact exist. But there is a saying, “Knowledge is a gift to be admired.” Over the years I've gained a lot of knowledge and now I'm no longer afraid, just very intrigued.

How to see the Aura

To see the aura you have to be able to relax and concentrate, at the same time, and there is a trick to focusing the eyes in a special way.

1. You need soft light to train in, not dim, but good soft light. No harsh light shining or reflecting in your eyes! Get a book and cover it in Blue or Red paper. Stand it upright on a table several feet from you. Experiment with the distance until you find what is best for you. Make sure you have a plain neutral background. If the wall colour is wrong, hang a sheet of neutral coloured paper or cloth as a backdrop.
Note: The auras of the colours Blue and Red are the brightest and easiest to see. Blue has a Yellow aura and Red has a Green aura. The brightness and tone of the aura varies with the shade and tone of the colour used, so use bright primary colours.

2. Close your eyes, take a few deep breaths and relax. When you are calm, look at the book. Focus your eyes on nothing, a little to the side and past it. Gently hold and get used to that focus but don't strain your eyes or tense your eyes or forehead. Concentrate! you need a gentle, steady un-focus, similar to day-dreaming.
Note: When you need to blink, do so, or it will cause your eyes to tense and water. Blink normally and quickly without changing focus, and do not become preoccupied with it. It may cause the aura to disappear for a second, but it will reappear quickly if you stay relaxed and hold your focus.
After a while you will see a pale narrow aura coming from the book. Hold the focus, don't look AT it, soon a bright Yellow or Green aura will start building up from the object. Don't change focus or look directly at it or the aura will disappear.
There is a reason for this strange un-focus. Your outer field of vision is many times more sensitive than the focused area is. Have you ever seen a movement, out of the corner of your eye, only to turn and see nothing there? What you may have seen is an aura building up from something and your outer field of vision has detected it.

3. Once you have completed the first step, gather several books and cover them, each with a different coloured paper. Study these one at a time and write down the auric colour for it. Next try using two at a time, and watch how the auric colours affect each other.

4. Get a pot plant or some flowers and study it. The aura you will see emanates from the living plant and also from the colours of the petals. The Orange hue comes from the green of the stems and leaves. You will also see a more distinct etheric and a shimmering optical effect around them. This shimmering is the energy field or living aura of the plant.

5. For the next step use an animal, dog or cat etc, if you have one. Try and observe them when they are resting.

6. Observe your own aura. This can be done both inside and outside in the sun. Hold your arm out and study it against the sky or clouds. Alternatively, lie down and look at your legs. Make sure the skin is bare when you do this, and remember, grass will give off an Orange hue.

7. When you feel proficient enough, try it with a human subject. Just remember not to try too hard. Do it exactly the same as in the original exercise with the book. Get your volunteer to remove some of their clothing and study the bare skin area against a neutral background.
On a human subject, again, the first thing you will see is the etheric aura, like pale smoke clinging to the skin. Next you will see the shimmering optical effect in the air extending from several inches to a couple of feet deep, depending on the strength of their aura. Keep trying and the aura's colour will build up, and out from, the etheric. It will first appear as a narrow band of colour next to the etheric. This will expand slowly, if you hold your focus, until it is several inches or more thick.

8. The brightness of a person's aura has a lot to do with how they feel. If they feel happy and full of life their aura is stronger, larger and brighter. Try playing their favourite music, this will help to energize their aura and make it easier to see.

9. Try it on your volunteer outside. Make sure the sun is behind you and use clouds as a backdrop.
Note: The basic auras of colours are as follows: Blue = Yellow aura, Red = Green aura, Green = Orange aura, Yellow = Pale Blue aura, Orange = Pale Green aura, Violet = Pale Gold aura, Indigo = Gold aura, Pink = Iridescent Green. These colours will vary slightly according to the shade and tone of the colours you use.
It takes practise to see the human aura, so don't be disappointed if you fail, or see very little, the first few times you try. If you managed to see the auric colours of the books, you CAN learn to see the human aura. Using this training method stimulates the forehead chakra, which is responsible for this ability. With use, it will grow in strength, and become progressively easier to do.

Crystal Energy

Many people look at crystals and see them as ‘pretty’ objects they might like as ornaments. But if you look deeper into their history they were around from the very beginning of the universe. When the ‘Big Bang’ occurred, the vibrations of the stones and crystals began.

The Big Bang theory explains what happened at the very beginning of the universe. Prior to that moment, it's believed there was nothing. Research shows that our universe sprang into existence around 13.7 billion years ago. After its appearance, the universe inflated and expanded. It continues to expand and cool to this day.

We are surrounded by vibrations every day; the universe almost pulsates with energy. Rocks, crystals and every living thing, has its own unique vibration. Hearing, sight and smell are all carried out on a vibration level, so it is very important that we hold our crystals in meditation and acknowledge the great wealth of power they store.

Each crystal structure has its own individual personality, or energy field. The energies of the mineral kingdom are known as ‘Universal Energies’. These energies are activated by interaction and contact from the person holding it. Good intention during the use of crystals stimulates the melding between the user and the structure. This furthers the propagation of love, light and ‘the good of all.’

ORB'S.

What are Orbs or spirit lights? They are spiritual energy - usually the first stage of manifestation. They appear to have a mind of their own and move in a deliberate manner, actually manoeuvring in a definite direction. They are quite beautiful, with harmonious hues of rainbow colours. Some, well formed orbs, will even show features within them.

Sceptics believe orbs are dust particles caught on camera or faults occurring from digital photography technology- especially when using a flash. But how can they explain away orbs seen by the naked eye? I have seen them myself. Many photos contain these phenomena. The orbs can be passed relations or loved ones who have manifested themselves in the photographs, just so you can see they are still around you.

GRIEF

So today we are discussing grief. How do we react when a loved one dies? Some people shout and scream, some cry, while others remain silent while their insides are tearing apart. But however you experience grief, it still comes down to the fact you are all suffering. There are many ‘stages’ a person goes through when they grieve.
The first is denial. Refusing to believe it’s happened, waiting for that door to open and the one you have lost walk in.
Then comes anger. The feeling of injustice that it’s happened. You blame everyone, even yourself. If only...
Then depression hits. You realise that nothing ‘s going to bring them back. The hole of despair you’re hurtling down is dark and frightening.
Then finally comes, acceptance. When you accept they have gone, love them still, but move on with your life.

To those I’ve spoken to on the other side of life. They go through more or less the same thing, except they have the opportunity to visit the living when they are healed. Some spirit people remain angry for a long time, because they feel they have died too soon. Before their time. They go through all the same stages of grief that the living do. They feel the same pain of losing their loved ones.
Others are surprised they’re free of illness or disabilities that plagued them when alive. They feel reborn, full of life and vitality. Because, no matter what the condition of the physical body, the spiritual body will always be whole. I believe that’s why some amputees can still feel their missing limbs. They are feeling their spiritual body.

Grief is a powerful emotion. It can immobilise you, crush you, turn you into someone you don’t recognise anymore. But there is always a light shining in the darkness for you. Waiting and helping you to heal your broken heart. Ask for help. The angels cry with you and feel your grief too. But they will support you when you feel your legs cannot, they will hold you in their arms, when you feel lost and alone and they will walk beside you all your life, guiding you towards your goals and aspirations.
Never think that you're alone. An angel is always by your side.

What I'm thankful for

Hello everyone.
I thought I'd share this with you all.

The other day I was feeling really flat when I asked God for help with getting my head straight with not only the course I'm doing but with my life in general.
A friend called later and did some healing on me over the phone. She said my head had got twisted to the side and no wonder I couldn’t see my way clearly. Anyway, a quiet balancing of my body did the trick and afterwards I felt like a huge weight had been lifted from me. I’ve noticed more and more that its people that god works through and not to be afraid to let others be there for you. It can’t always be a big angel on your shoulder(which is nice) it’s mostly earth angels that I owe gratitude to and I'm thankful for.

Who needs a helping hand?

I don’t know about you, but how many times have you put out that thought, ‘Help me’?
Did you get help? NO? Are you sure? When you ask for spiritual help it doesn’t always come in the way you expect it. Sometimes spirit will direct earth angels to you. These are people on the earth, who go out of their way to help others. You may pick up a paper, magazine, leaflet or hear a song that will have the exact thing you need in/on it. Help doesn’t always come in etheric light and fan fayre. So when you ask for help, watch out for the signs or you will miss them and the help you’ve asked for.

How to recognise a spiritual connection.

Every one, when they first start working with spirit, feels that what they are hearing is just their own thoughts and nothing to do with their intuition or spirit guides. Because we are dealing with a force that can’t always be seen, we almost demand to be shown concrete proof that what we are getting is from spirit. But that will never happen. The information is there to be tapped into, but we have to meet those in spirit half way. We can’t expect them to do all the work.

Living in the physical world we think in physical terms. This makes it very hard to fight our own negativity and doubts. But there is a way to overcome this. Simply, believe in yourself. Recognise that our thoughts are part of a spiritual plan. Most of us don’t have a clue how the brain works, but it doesn’t stop us from using it. Anything that appears to be outside our normal experience, we immediately make it safe by dismissing it as part of our imagination. But what is the imagination? Is it unreal - just a thought process to be dismissed so casually?

Think about it. Without our thought process we couldn’t breathe, eat or drink. It’s the core of our being and the basis of everything we do. Thought can create wonderful works of art, but with every yin, there is a yang. Thought can also cause world wars. So now you see why thoughts must never be dismissed. Thought is a tool to communicate with other thinking energies?
Spirit guides need to use the same thought processes that we will understand, and the gateways for them to use are our imaginations. That’s why it is a good idea to watch lots of documentaries, programs that cram your mind full of information. A spirit guide will pull snippets of information from your mind to communicate with you. But there needs to be information there to use. As trust in the imagination increases, thoughts become tangible. Believing what the imagination tells you is the starting point from fanciful ideas, to actuality. When we merge our imagination and our spiritual perception, there’s no longer any fear of the unknown.

So now I hear you ask, "How do I know the thoughts are from a guide and not my own mind?" Unfortunately there’s no easy answer to this question because everyone works differently. I always tell people when I’m teaching, if thoughts pop into your mind, without any prompting, that’s the first indication that you’re beginning to recognise spiritual influences.

Progression on the spiritual path includes progression on your physical journey as well. In fact, as spiritual awareness increases, you’ll start to change the way you live your physical life. This enables you to then continue along the pathway you’ve decided to tread. I’m not saying it’ll be easy, but then nothing in life is. If it were, you’d never appreciate your achievements. Good luck with your journey, it’s one you will never regret undertaking.
